HYUNG MIN MOON
'Love me two times'

March 4 - April 30, 2015

Hyung-min Moon's work is not limited to a single genre. Although it is no longer new to the artist to work across genres, the works unfolded in different forms maintain the artist's unique tendency to work. Hyung-min Moon is an artist who balances well within different elements, and this is possible because he has been working based on a common basic process of'contradiction between form and content' and'black humor'. 'Contradiction between form and content' means that the artist does not draw a picture, but creates a painting work, and expresses the meaning of the object itself or heterogeneous meaning through various techniques.

Another work, the “Black Humor” series, is to interpret the work as humor or not humorous rather than judging the value or taking a critical position to solve the interpretation of the work for each audience. “Love Me Two Times”, which will be exhibited at Helio Art in Cheongdam-dong from March 5th to April 5th, is a new work that encompasses the aforementioned “form and contradiction” and “black humor” by Hyungmin Moon. This exhibition will be an interesting opportunity to look back on the world of his works and discover hidden new works. In the exhibition “Love Me Two Times”, which is also a message from Hyung-min Moon to the audience, I hope that spring of 2015 will not come again with Helio Art.
