Hotel Salon Exhibition & Luncheon Program

Helio Company held the art fair titled “Salon Exhibition” at Lotte Hotel from September 1st to 4th in 2010. For this fair, we transformed Lotte Hotel Suite rooms into gallery space and introduced domestic and international masterpieces to the public. For our VIP, we offered a variety of additional events including artist talk, art academy, and private auction.

During the exhibition, Helioart hosted a luncheon programme for VIPs in collaboration with Pierre Gagnaire Seoul, a FRENCH CUISINE that stands out for its innovative and diverse recipes and unique artistic flair. The programme, which included a three-course meal at Pierre Gagnaire's premier restaurant, was held at the Lotte Hotel Presidential Suite from 12:00 p.m., and included a tour of the art fair and a meeting with the artist.

After the Luncheon programme, the Art Tour and Meet the Artist programme was held every day at 2pm in the LOTTE HOTEL suite, where guests were able to interact with the artists and hear about their works and practices.

Sunho Choi (Sep 1st)
We had a great time chatting with Sunho Choi, who majored in both painting and Eastern philosophy.

Hyunmi Yoo (Sep 2nd)
We talked to Hyunmi Yoo, who breaks the boundaries of genres through the processes of sculpture, painting, and photography, and her mixed-media works.

Jungsoon Uhm (September 3rd)
We met with Jung Soon Uhm, who uses ‘line’ as a gesture of communication, and whose work is based on ‘graffiti’.

Hyungmin Moon (Sep 4th)
We spoke to Hyungmin Moon, who interprets the concept of objects from the artist's different perspectives and creates colourful designs and colourful paintings.
